“The world is not as it should be. Broken relationships. Divided communities. Poverty, hunger and violence are everywhere. God longs to work through us to help restore things to the way they were intended to be. God calls us to wholeness — where nothing is missing and nothing is broken.”
The Biblical Idea
In the words of the prophet Jeremiah, "we work and pray for the well-being of our city [or neighborhood]," trusting that if the entire community does well and prospers, then we will prosper also.

Why Shop for a Ministry?
We know — it's kind of crazy. We're expecting people to shop online for a ministry they can support. There's a risk in using a model that comes out of the consumer space. But, we're trying to make it easy to support particular ministries of the church.
We wanted to give people a unique way to view information about a ministry and its' impact on those served and those serving. So, take a look at the ways we help people in our community. We appreciate your interest in the ministries.
We're not kidding — our ministries are 100% handmade. Nothing takes our breath away like something that's lovingly crafted.
Making something beautiful is difficult to do when the priority is expediency and things are made to be disposable.
God's love is real craftsmanship — it does take your breath away. We believe God calls all of us to serve one another in the most lovingly crafted way possible. That's what Journey of Faith tries to do with its' ministries.
